At Glissades des Pays d’en Haut, we are continually evolving and improving. Our long experience with state-of-the-art technology means increased client safety. Here is how we maintain maximum safety throughout the site.
Security
gates
At the start of each run, the opening and closing of the safety barrier are operated by an employee, in one of our control stations.
Mountain code of conduct
Safety signs
Several safety signs are strategically placed to communicate site guidelines and rules. It is important to read them before your first descent. At the versant Tubes hill, pictograms at the start of the trails illustrate the proper ways to slide as well as the maximum number of people allowed on a trail (may vary during the same day).
The second tier trails are reserved for experienced sliders measuring 1,32 m (52 inches). Two panels located at the first level allow you to measure yourself before going up.
Surveillance Cameras
Control posts are equipped with surveillance cameras that allow patrols to have a complete view of each run in order to identify which are free and which are not.
